These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LegalLekh application and website. By using LegalLekh, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
LegalLekh is a voice-to-text dictation tool that records audio and converts it into text using advanced speech-recognition technology. It is provided to assist legal professionals and is offered on an "as is" basis.
2. Acceptable use
- Use LegalLekh only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and professional rules.
- Obtain any consent required before recording another person.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service.
3. Accuracy of transcripts
Automated transcription may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any transcript before relying on it, filing it, or sharing it. LegalLekh does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for professional judgment.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to your recordings and transcripts. As described in our Privacy Policy, audio is deleted from our servers immediately after transcription, and your content is stored encrypted on your device.
5. Availability
We aim to keep LegalLekh available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Transcription requires an internet connection; recording does not.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalLekh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any reliance on transcript accuracy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LegalLekh after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
